Description:
Plastic disc is solid, with slot on one side to middle, and a pin extending across it to stick in rope/socking.

Use:
Used with mussel socking and/or culture rope to help prevent unnecessary fall-off of mussels.
How it is used / deployed:
A pin in the center of the disc is inserted into the mussel socking, this can be done as the mussels being socked or after the mussels have attached themselves to the socking and/or cultured rope with their byssel threads.
Features / benefits:
Designed, produced and tested by mussel growers. Made from UV stabilized plastic, longer lasting, center pin is barbed, prevents it from falling off the sock, quickly and easily inserted, low labor. Holds mussels on rope, can increase your net harvest by up to 40%, recovering your capital investment in less than two years, discs have more surface area than pegs, will hold more mussels, reusable, will last for many grow-out cycles.
