Description:
Tube material made of black plastic.

Dimensions:
Diameters 9mmLD, (3/8") and 10.5mmHD, (7/16").

Use:
Used with Bayco wire as an alterative to aquacable for the longline of the ALS system to suspend oyster bags.

How it is used / deployed:
Bayco wire is threaded through the tube creating a lonline. The longline is attached at both ends to strainer posts. The cable is suspended throughout the system by fence risers attached to line posts. Risers are used so the longline can be raised and lowered at intervals of 10.16cm, (4") or more, allowing the oyster cages to be submerged or at the surface, depending on the season and site specifics.

Features / benefits:
For use in high energy areas where aquacable is not suitable, because of the wearing of the aquacable by the bag clips due to increased weave action and rough water conditions.
