Square Multi Species Marine Trap FT-100, FT-101

Description:
Has vinyl covered high tensile steel frame, includes a bait bag and handle, hinge points include area for anchor attachment if required. Made with square, single knotted, high density, high UV resistant, polyethylene mesh. Check with local marine regulatory agencies on legality of certain traps.
Dimensions:
FT-100: 60cm x 45cm x 20cm, (24" x 18" x 8"), folded dimensions 60cm x 45cm x 4cm, (24" x 18" x 1-5/8"). Also a 40cm (16") door opening at each end or the trap. FT-101: 80cm x 60cm x 27cm, (32" x 24" x 11"), folded dimensions 60cm x 80cm x 4cm (24" x 32" x 1-5/8"). Also one 55cm, (22") door opening at each end.
Mesh size:
4000d or 6000d-12mm, (1/2").
Use:
Used for trapping fish, lobsters, shrimp, crabs, octopus, and eels.
Features / benefits:
The collapsible nature of this trap is a very popular feature because it allows fishermen to carry many more traps per outing. Holding to higher catch ability and the safety factor due to less bulk on deck. Can be used by both hobby and commercial fishermen as well as by the scientific and government sectors. With careful handling and placement, a long life and great fishing ability can be expected from these traps. The traps are also cost and labour efficient. Escape hatch doors can be added easily based on regional regulations.
